Gerard O’Hare

Gerard O’Hare, 47, graduated from Allegheny College in Meadville in 1977 with a degree in Chemistry and Duquesne University in 1981 with a degree in Pharmacy. He has been with Jeffrey`s Drug Store for 15 years and owner for the past ten years. Mr. O’Hare is a member of NARD, member and past vice president of the Canonsburg Merchants and Professional Association and serves on the advisory board for Cardinal Health. He is also a member of the Pennsylvania Pharmaceutical Association.Besides filling some 1300 prescriptions weekly, we offer durable medical equipment and diabetes services. Jeffrey`s Drug Store provides 24 hour emergency service and free local deliveries. We also have monthly Blood Pressure screening by a registered nurse in our pharmacy. Jeffreys has a state-of-the-art compounding laboratory. We can compound dosage forms that are just the right size for individual needs.

In the past year Jeffreys has taken on a new look with the Grand Opening of its Card and Gift Shop. The stores’ gift department includes custom gift arrangements, balloons, seasonal gifts, Russell Stover Candy and Yankee candles. We feature a large selection of Carlton Cards.

Brian King

Brian King is a registered pharmacist who specializes in vitamins and natural supplements. He was born in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania; attended Central Greene High School in Greene County; and graduated from The School of Pharmacy at Duquesne University. Brian began to study herbs and vitamins in 1991, and opened his own health food store in Waynesburg in 1993. He has given numerous seminars on natural products; regularly writes articles for 2 newspapers; and has a weekly radio show called the “Natural Health Connection” on WANB. Brian lives on a small farm in Greene County with his two daughters, where several wild medicinal herbs like black cohosh and snakeroot grow in abundance.

Kim Dimple

I am a registered pharmacist with a degree from the University of Pittsburgh. After accepting my position with Washington Pharmacy/Jeffreys Drug Store in 1999, I have been training extensively in the practice of Bio Identical Hormone Replacement and alternative therapies. I attend seminars yearly with other doctors and health professionals from all over the country. This training has aided me in providing the best care I can offer to my patients.In administering bio identical hormone replacement, I work very closely with your doctor to develop a regimen, which is unique to you, and your personal needs. I believe in educating you, the patient, with the information you need to make the best decision on what is right for you. I also believe in helping you to obtain overall better health through recommendations on proper nutrition, exercise and nutrient supplementation. I very much enjoy what I do and achieve great satisfaction from hearing how much better my patients feel from being in tune with their bodies.I look forward to working with you.

Germaine Zubritsky

Germaine Zubritsky R.Ph Personal Care Specialist She specializes in personal care, nursing homes and hospice. She has been working in long term care pharmacy since 1987, & works closely with the facilities & the physicians, reviewing medication doses & drug interactions in the elderly. She, in addition, helps with the compounding of special medications required for pain control.

Jay Buckley

Jay Buckley R.Ph DISPILL Specialist Jeffreys Drug Store is now offering a system that lets the pharmacy deliver medications to you in an all-inclusive blister pack. Each blister pack has 28 individual blisters that contain your prescribed medication for a specific time (morning, noon, evening, bed time)

Amy Belcastro R.Ph. Compounding Specialist

Amy has been a pharmacist since 1994. She leads the Jeffreys compounding staff and serves as the pharmacy’s primary interface with the Professional Compounding Centers of America (PCCA) where she completed several training and certification courses. She is now certified in Cosmeceutical Compounding with a focus on acne and anti-aging formulations. She also has extensive training on sports medicine compounding focusing on Topical Pain Management alternatives. Her broad experience also included Autism Spectrum Disorder, pain management, women’s health including bio-identical hormone replacement therapies, dermatology, veterinary medicine and immunizations.

Amy operates a state-of-the-art compounding laboratory for compounding. Amy’s focus is on individualized medicine to suit every patient’s specific needs.
